FIFA Worldcup......ONE WORLD,ONE NATION

Football is probably ,the most popular game in the world. And Fifa is the most important figure in the world of football.Modern football was born in 1863 . Indeed there is evidence they were kicking a rudimentary ball around more than 2,000 years ago in China. Other countries have their own claims to have played the first football - ancient Greece and Rome included - but it was in England where the village contests of medieval times evolved into popular ball games in the public schools of the 19th century. By 1863, the first basic rules were established. Tripping opponents was forbidden and handling the ball would soon follow suit. And the next, football is spreading day by day.

FIFA:International Federation of Association Football(omThe Fédération Internationale de Football Association.) was formed in May21, 1904 . FIFA is responsible for the organization and governance of football's major international tournaments, most notably the FIFA World Cup, held since 1930.FIFA has 208 member associations, which is 16 more than the United Nations and three more than the International Olympic Committee, though five fewer than the International Association of Athletics Federations.
It's headquarter is in Zurich, switzerland. At present, Sepp Blatter is president.Membership of FIFA expanded beyond Europe with the application of South Africa in 1908, Argentina and Chile in 1912, and Canada and the United States in 1913.
And now we are eagerrly waiting for world cup 2010.
